Another Burda 7400!

Hello All! I know that I have said this many times, but I LOVE WIDE LEG PANTS!!! I found this ITY knit at Fine Fabrics and I knew I wanted to make pants but I didn’t have a pattern yet, so I put it in my stash. Burda doesn’t have a sale as much as the other pattern companies, so I make sure I stock up when they do. I found Burda 7400 during their last pattern sale and I made view A. Check out the pattern review here. I paired these wide leg pants with a classic white t-shirt and I also added a blazer I purchased from Park Avenue Thrift Outlet ($1.25) to show you how you can wear it to work.

Now I’m on a mission to find the perfect fabric for view B. I think I want to use a non-stretch fabric but I’m skeptical because I can never get the fit right around my hips! Leave a comment below if you have tried or want to try this pattern.

  1. Love that fabric! Non-stretch (woven) fabrics don’t work well for me either. When I make pants with a woven fabric, they end up looking like drapes and fit like a bad pair of pajamas. Wovens with a touch of lycra (stretch wovens) are a great compromise.
